to tell the truth, our family is the type that will not have a proper holiday trip. be it domestic nor international. I can't remember the last holiday trip we had. oh ya. Cameron Highland when I was 12 years old. kekeke. no im not complaining (though it sounds like one). because our hometowns are at Perlis and Terengganu. so every time we went back to hometowns, Ayah will make detour to other places along the way. that is how we have a holiday. the Manaf's way! hahaha.

so international? only my parents travel outside a lot. but! only if they have seminars, conventions, meetings, research or any official work stuffs to do.

so this mark our first ever real holiday outside Malaysia. but we are going not as a whole family. sigh~ budget tadok weiii. Ayah and Emak if you read this, im going to pay back the whole trip after i get some job. seriously.

Alhamdulilah.

we are going without tour guide. hehehe. let see how things goes nanti.

Ya know in one of harry potter series, where he went to the forbidden forest(?) behind Hogwarts(?) and met with some weird looking creatures with a horse body at the back and the remaining front in human form? That is centaur!

Well as in my Jurispurence II subject, centaur is used by an Italian philosopher, Antonia Gramsci to describe how ideological hegemony works as one of elemets to maintain power in certain society/socities.

8th IHL Moot Competition: Defending David Dabar

I've been wanting to update about IHL moot competition but, hmmm well. can I just copy paste my grounds of laziness of previous posts to the current one? well, this article was written by my awesome earthling friend, Joanne! and of course, my self too. this article is to be put in my class's magazine called Our Magazine. we will make our own magazine as we are about to grad from Law School soon enough. I edited and added here and there in my post. as I have more freedom of expression in my own blog. hahahaha. if I could write as much as I want without considering whether I will, might will, hurt someone's feeling, my article would have be 5 pages long. hahahahaha.

8^th IHL Moot Competition: Love Dabar,Breathe Dabar, Embrace Dabar

I’m sorry Mr. Dabar, I have failed you.

This is not a newsarticle about how International Humanitarian Law (IHL) 2011 mooting nationalchampions UiTM will represent Malaysia in Hong Kong, or about how MMU’sAppellant team (Alvina and Alicia from Delta) walked away with the BestMemorial Award. This is not an article about priceless friendship fosteredduring IHL 2011 and all that fictional optimism. Most of all, this is not arant justifying the team’s loss.

This is an articlededicated to all of you who have never witnessed the IHL moot, and to those ofyou who intend to participate in the future.

On 6th September2011, Iman and I were appointed as defence counsel for Mr. Dabar (a man Imanimagined to be well-built and in his mid-thirties) who was charged with warcrimes and crime against humanity.

Two months later,Iman and I stood at the podium in the majestic auditorium of Bangunan SultanAzlan Shah - University Malaya’s Law Faculty, to defend Mr. Dabar. Imanquipped, “if we don’t get to the finals, at least we mooted at its venue”.

True enough, welost the competition. On the very same night, I left in despair and met up withmy hometown friends. I coerced them into playing about 9 games of pool beforeheading to the cyber café to massacre approximately 2143 zombies. I almost fellasleep at the computer.

Dr Myint warnedthat luck was to contribute an estimated 60% to the results, as differentjudges will preside over different teams at random, and one judge’s generositydiffers from another.

What I did notaccount for though, was to lose to the opposing team under the same judge when,frankly and humbly speaking, our team blatantly presented a better case. Butthen again, winning a moot was never about winning the case.

To think that allthe late nights of drafting, extensive research, daily training and classes Imissed have gone to waste was devastating. Nonetheless, in hindsight, it was amemorable experience. For one thing, Iman and I met the strangest Appellantteam, which proceeded to semi-finals.

On the pretensethat they would have to introduce all counsels at the start of the moot, Imanand I approached the Appellant team to ask if they needed our names. The leadcounsel kept silent for awhile and asked nonchalantly, “Why do I need yournames?”

Another strangeoccurrence happened the night before the competition, just as Dr Myint wasabout to leave the girls’ room after practice. As he was bidding farewell, Igestured with my fingers and said “PEACE!”, to which Dr Myint replied “Okay!Peace!” Everyone roared in laughter.

I’m not going tolie that despite everything, a small part of me remains upset over the resultof IHL 2011. In fact, I am sure that if anyone were to ask me to advice onwhether to participate in IHL, I would first ask them, “how lucky are you?”

At the end of theday, the verdict was never passed on Mr. Dabar. Perhaps in another paralleldimension, he is roaming freely with a group of hostages. I mean, "civiliansdeprived of their liberty on reasons of security".

I don’t know how to express this without makingmyself sounds arrogant or butt hurt. But I believe IHL moot competition is allabout luck. Though you were equipped with the best weapons, Spartans as yoursoldiers or even used the best war strategy you.will.never.win. What isadvocacy in this competition is very subjective.

Dr. Myint Zan said in every training session we hadwith him that the scoring system is very vague. In the past IHL competitions,one of the judge commented that this fella is a born mooter but he ended upgetting a low marks. Sad to say it happened to us.

You can win even by reading your submission! Impossibruuu!Oh wait. It’s better for me not to whine about it too much. Who knows thisarticle might back fire me or our Law school in the future. I did not intend tojustify anything in here. Period.

There was this one moment, where I have to hold mytears at the same time I have to calm the others and tried to carve a smile onmy face. And that moment was when we all figured out that we lost to bothrounds which we pretty sure we nailed them.

Every time lecturers announced and asked our classto clap and congratulate us, my heart bitter. I smiled awkwardly knowing howupset we were about this competition.

On the side note, I’m glad I have my team besides meand managed to get through this. I wish I can do this all over again, of coursewith the same partner in crime, Joanne. Also with the same awesome team; Yusri,Azmiza, Pravin, Yingle, Alicia, Alvina, Pavitra and the others. My specialthanks goes to Ms. Mageswary, Ms. Kuek, Ms. Weng Man (she is my senior and also was a mooter for previous IHL. she is so cute, like a puppy! this is a compliment. seriously), Dr. Myint Zan, Mr. Tayand lawyers from Malacca for helping us in many ways. Not to forget, Lynnettefor taking care of us in a cute motherly way.

I’m proud to be in the team where we (theprosecution team: Alvina and Alicia) won the Best Memorial. This is certainlyan achievement added to the previous record where our seniors emerged aschampions and Best Mooter on the 4th IHL Moot Competiton. Like 4 years ago. they were the first batch that was sent to represent MMU in this competition.

To anyone who wants to enter this kind ofcompetition, please remember this rule: it is not about you against yourlearned opponents but it is you against the judges.

let me write. anything that crossed my mind few minutes or seconds ago.

now it becomes so uncomfortable. they first ruined my thighs. and they are coming to my waist. being a slowpoke wont change anything but why my mind being such an arse hole. ehehehe. i will get rid of you. just wait!

i dont find riding horse and playing basketball to be my adrenalin rush sugar anymore. this is suck. but i will maintain my activities with such, for the sake to stay active. need to stay active people!

i found that my lack of feminism (did i use this word in the right occasion?) caused me to have bad skins and bad attitude as a lady. oh wait no. just bad skin. recently lay my fingers on some creams and what not. need to take care of my own self laa.

i tend to throw my critiques/comments to someone from inside. meaning, i didn't say it. just a little implication through my face expression. but not anymore. when i want to say it ill say. i might hurt someone but im sorry. oh wait. why should i feel apologetic. this morning, my housemate's room door cannot be opened. stuck somehow. she called the management to open it. ya know what, the lady from the management did that pissed the hell out of me? she wore her shoes into the hall area and into the walkway. though im half conscious because im too sleepy, asked her with a little diplomatic tone why the hell you are wearing a shoes inside our house.

MMU basketball team will have friendly matches with UITM and Singapore National University this December. i really want to go! but i cant. i just found out that i have midterm test on the match day. heck. but i think they will do great without me in the team. hard to judge also because this is a newly formed team. chemistry might not ye there but i hope they will win or not defeated sayur saje. go MMU!

i think the main reason why i always delayed myself to update this blog is because i am so lazy to transfer pictures from my phone to pc. i said this before didn't i? hehe.

my lack of motivation scares me. motivation in so many matters. life, studies, financial etc.

Toriq tagged me in a picture at facebook saying something like a person who is always want to make other people or people around her happy is the one that hard to feel happy for her own. is that makes sense? well something like that. haha kinda true. sometimes i want to be selfish. but i can't when it comes to family matters. i wish there is ten Imans. but.. wait no. that is scary.

i get the chance to know an old man. i respected him for what he contributed to society. however the respect blown away the moment i know his true self. i didnt know an old man can be so irritating, thick skin, selfish and annoying. i knew many but not a lot old men but this one. i can no longer tolerate. but i will stand. until it ends. hmmmmmm i think one day i will regret by writing this paragraph hahahah but who cares. or should i make my blog private or should this thought left privately in my head.

That is the amount of my lifetime i've spent with this one boy! Mr. Yusri hehehehehe well not literally. I seldom blog bout my so called love life bcus somehow its more comfartable just to be like this.

So... It has reached more than 4 years! Damn this is nut if i think back to the old times. How i didnt even imagine to have this very long relationship. The only and the longest so far. And hoping it will last till I die. Can i say that? Did i sound a bit romantic to say it here hahaha.

We have been through a lot. I really wish we can be together like forever though i know we can only plan whats for future but He decides everything.

Exam; tiring era ever

Sekarang ni mmu tengah exam final. Sedih. Untuk raya tahun ni tah berapa rumah terbuka (hahaha this so awkward to type open house as rumah terbuka, ke rumah buke?) aku tak dapat pergi. sedihhhhh. The only time, yes the only time in every year that i gotta to see almost everyone from my school batch is through raya's open houses.

So exam weeks are here. This is where the students get not enough sleeping hours, eat less bcus want to save precious hours to study or eat too much junk/fast food bcus studying tends to make you hunger 3 times faster. Kan? Ke aku je? And the worst part is i stuck my butt in the chair that we almost become undetach. Dah lama tak excersive oh damn it!

My room pretty much like it was hit by garuda and probably im living with him now.

Anyways, this is my 3rd last exam that i have to go through before i finish my degree. Yeah read that with a sad tone please. Hehehe. Im going to miss this. Taking exams, burning the midnight oil, burying my ass to the chair, the level of stress that sometime i broke down and cried. Haha. Masa sekolah tak pernah aku semangat belajar camni. Tatah belajar overseas dah aku ni huahuahua (yeah go on, you can keep on dreaming gal)

2 more papers. Civil paper was The hell. Jurisprudence was awesome. Professional Practice was a wack.

Criminal is the only one left for me to score. Evidence? Hahaha no way. Like what the lecturer said "you have to apply gymnastic mind and ways of thinking of the answers through the laws of evidence". Haha sort of la dia ckp macam tu.

Probably bcus the gaps for this finals are pretty good. So my evil procrastinator came out and took over my soul... Haha merepek jadah apo lah. This is going to be my 2nd last long sem before i grad. 2nd last chance to increase my cgpa hahahaha. Alhamdulillah my cgpa is something that i can proud of myself at but not to my parents. Hahahah!

ada banyak restoran baru kat Bangi ni. tapi sebab kami semua suka ikut perangai Ayah; makan kat tempat yang sama bertahun2 sebab sedap sampai la muak. muahaha. maka decided nak explore semua restoran2 baru kat Bangi.

hari minggu yang lepas (HAHA skema pulok ayat ini) Toik, Samah dan gue pergi try satu kedai ini yang dari luar nampak sangat santekkk. dari papan kedai (lupa nak ambik gambar), speciality mereka ialah Thai cuisine, Steamboat dan western foods.

kedai tersebut ialah Suasana@Bangi!

terletak dekat seksyen 7 dekat dengan shell yang dekat dengan JPJ Bangi. hahah helpful tak? pusing2 la area kedai2 tu. kedai dia cam tertutup dari khalayak ramai sikit.

dan meja besar utk mereka yang ramai.

ni pulak counter mereka. they used bricks as the wall! cool

ada wifi juga. a must for every restaurant to ensure the customers gonna stick their assess or will come for lepak.

restoran ni dia gunakan system open kitchen. maka mereka banyak save space untuk letak meja2 makan. seriously decoration and internal design restoran ni sangat cantik! sungguh moden :) sepanjang duduk kat restoran tu dari awal dah rasakan retoran ni runs by bunch of guys.

kedai ini penuh dengan orang yang dah reserved! maka kalau nak datang time bulan puasa reserve lah dulu jika tidak jadi cam kami yang dtg 25 minit sebelum bukak puasa ni. mestilah makanan sampai lambat. hahaha tak salah kan restoran!

Epic Soundtracks

and that is from Iman too. ngahahahaha. since I was so bored waiting for Toik to indulge his sleeping pills, i did some research. research on soundtracks! oh yeah! research benda2 bodoh laju je nak buat kalau research pasal assignment... I give this for you to finish it :P

and yeah, exactly.. from epic movies, em' give birth to epic soundtracks. probably because most of them are big budget movies so of course they got the monies to put on the soundtracks. and according to my sister who major in degree in filming, soundtracks play a big role in each particular scene of the movie.

so here are some of the soundtracks that managed to give me goosebumps while listening to it. I include em with few top comments from youtube that really cracked me up and brings my memories of the scene together.

so! hahahahahahaha. my sister, Cik Salma is the founder of an online blogshop called Gadis Kooky. can't remember when GK was founded but her blogshop has been in this industry for quite years.

the bussiness was doing great at the beginning. the sales were good and everything... until she got admitted to Akademi Seni Budaya & Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA) last year. as a result GK was put in hiatus. like almost year plus.

and recently! on July my sister put her thoughts together again and made a comeback! yeay!

akhirnya Ramadhan sudah sampai. bulan yang sangat di nanti-nantikan! ni Ramadhan yang ke 22 saya. ni tak minus bulan2 puasa masa kecik yang puasa setakat sekerat hari tak pun sampai pukul10 pagi je. hehehe.

to be honest. as honest as I can be. im such a naive or fool if I may say for not appreciating all the previous Ramadhan that I've been through.. sad..

so this Ramadhan, InsyaAllah I will appreciate it as much as I can. cherish every seconds of it. use every opportunity. I have to change kan.

some of the things I want to do is semayang PENUH! baca Quran, pergi terawih sebanyak yang mungking, less doing things which less in value. hahaha. dan! turun kan jisim badan. HAHAHAHA.

I read bout this ranking last 2 weeks when someone retweeted a link on twitter. then look through the list, WOW MMU AT #7!! gila hebat!

then showed this to Emak and she started to discuss bout this ranking list with her workmates. they questioning the ranking and asked it based on what? then I started to have doubts. lol. yeah kinda tak logic for MMU to beat UIA, UTP and the list under.

and today I open up the link again and started to read the comments. hahaha damn. macam fanwar dah kat situ. everyone try to cast doubts bout the ranking probably because their universities and colleges down bellow their expectations? lol

banyak dan banyak dan banyak sangat benda nak di blog. tapi semua kecundang. kerana kemalasan nak transfer gambar dari hp ke laptop. huahuahua. tapi hari ni berjaya mengatasai kemalasan sheytonnn. transferred all the pictures!

so we went to the match of Malaysia v Arsenal on *check ticket jap* ohhh on the 13th of July! mula-mula masa beli ticket tu memang semangat gila nak pergi. tapi boleh pulak ada midterms 14th of July on the morning and at night! memang kerja gila kalau kitorang gi gak. so decided just want to bury our dream. siap dah tanya-tanya orang sapa nak beli semua.

tapi tiba-tiba! Civil Procedure's test which supposed to be on the night of 14th postponed to 15th! tukar plannnnnnnnnnn! mari ke Stadium National Bukit Jalil kawan2.

exam jam 8 pagi keesokan match? kita biarkan sahaja.

MUAHAHAHAHA!!

few days before the match I read somewhere saying its not a sell-out match. maybe around 3/5 tickets were sold? so its kinda disappointed. but who cares man! its Arsenal kot. we bought RM68 tickets. pujuk Yusri suruh beli yang mahal sikit for sure we get a better view. tapi dia kata tak yah la mahal la. hahahaha kalau pikir2 kan balik, ticket korean artist yang datang sini mahal gila sanggup pulak aku beli. sigh i hate fangirlsm. so so not good :P

orang-orang keramaian membanjiri stadium. masa awal2 sampai stadium masa nak cari parking, nampak ramai gila orang pakai baju Malaysia. haha proud seyh! tapi sebenarnya tak la ramai mana. kebetulan selalu terserempak dengan mereka yg menyarungi jersey Malaysia. hahahaha. now talking bout jersey, some people started an issue saying Malaysians are so not patriotic for donning not the the yellow or blue jersey of Malaysia. here is my 2 cent; no it is not unpatriotic for Arsenal fans (Chelsea and Liverpool too) to don their favorite team's jersey. because, come to think of it, berapa kali sangat la pun Epl teams come to Malaysia. yes they came before but how often these Malaysian supporters of EPL teams get the chance to see them.. ALIVE. hahaha. but, it is unpatriotic if its a match between countries and you are donning the opposite country. kan? macam pengkhianat negara dah tu! ok.. cam extreme sangat. haha

ya know, have you ever experience an awkward silence in a stadium filled with 50k of people. I have! hahahaha. ok sumpah. lawak boleh takkk. it was not a complete silent pun. but, at one point the stadium was so silent that I can hear people talking or whispering and not cheering. mula2 ingat kitorang salah dengar ke apa bile check facebook ada kot kawan sorang lagi cakap pasal benda yang sama. hahaha dayum!

the result? everyone knows this. we lost 4-0 to the Gunners.

and why I didn't give any review on the match? because im pretty sure im not really competent to give review/comments on football match. because im just a supporter of football not a fan. kang aku kasi review orang2 yg tengok bola ni gelak je bace. hahahaha. owhhhh but that new kid from Arsenal, the Japanese boy, he played his role really good in the game :)

p/s: boleh pulak midterm esok pagi tu keluar soalan suruh isi borang 16A dan 14A. benda yang daku buat nak hari2 masa legal attachment. hahahahaha Alhamdulillahh~ berbaloi pergi tengok bola :D

ya know when you watch zombie oriented movies. there is this kind of scene:

A's friend, B, was infected by the virus because he was bitten by the zombie. luckily he did not die in the incident. then they continue the journey to a safer place where it is zombie-free. then B's condition is getting worse to the stage where he almost turn into a zombie then B asked A to kill him before its too late. but A refused..

at this rate, selalunya kita cam bebel2 tgk movie tu sambil cakap "bunuh je la! last2 ko gak kene makan nanti. eeee bongek nye la minah ni" well.. something like that.

and now im in that shoes. but the different is, B did not ask me to end his life but i know he will end up rotten to death just like John...

what was the date again.. i can't remember. oh, its on the 5th of April in the year of 2011...

when u was born i was not there. got an excited call from im not sure who. its either Salma or Toik. i was in MMU. it was back in 2008. on the 12th of April to be exact. when i first met you i have a huge problem of recognizing which one is you and Johnny. since you guys are born with the same color compared with your other siblings. we named u the John and the Johnny.

after we moved to a new house, you guys werent allowed to sleep/eat/play in side the house anymore. compared to Johnny, you are not that manja. you dont really know how to sagat2 our legs without us felt annoyed.

as a year passed, you have turned into an adult young man. ya like to peed here and there. being what you are thats your nature but it turned out bad. Emak started to really pissed with you. Toriq always mad at you. for Salma, Johnny is enough. Me? i dont remember you. like the whole year, you just come to eat and u will be gone for 2-3 days even a week and back again. and blame me too for barely exist in Terengganu.

and we become so distance.

early this year before i start my legal attachment, Emak called. told that you bruises and cuts are getting worse and worse. but i was like oh really oh ok. passed on.

but it was hella worse. i can't believe on what was happening to ya.

for us its called bedridden but for you guys maybe its called as cageridden? doc ordered us to isolate you from the others so they wont get infected. they said you will be okay if we keep on letak gamat.

but nah. i even sent u twice to the doc but..

on the last 2 days, that thing covered your eyes. you can barely see. your nose partly blocked too. and that answered the question why you didnt touch your food nor the water and you even slept next to your sand box though it filled with ur poop. marks of your blood spilled were all over the cloth. no matter how many time i clean you cage those evil ants kept coming. on the last days, your blood didnt stop from flowing of your ears. your open wounds looked just the same as the week before. your condition is not getting better...at all.

Emak helped me to put gamat on you. and the idea came..

"can" here interprets as eligible or knowledgeable or experience enough.

i dont exercise as much as i did back in school. well, in school i dont really exercise. and never in my mind i bothered to go out and exercise back then. cus all i did was playing basketball every frigging day. hahaha. seriously speaking, i have never once bothered bout my body.

started my first morning of 2011 by these beyond words sceneries.....

2010 is not just another year to pass. 2010 is a year that i turned 21. when i was in form 4 i heard a friend dating with a university guy aged 21. i was like "bapak ahhh 21 tahun kot! bla bla bla bla". (kawan tu dah beranak satu ye. cool!). owh another friend of mine dating a guy 6 years older but that one i can pass cus somehow they looked like a normal couple. bukan cam pedophile ke apa. eh jap. my point is that, i am now the 21 yrs old manusia that i used to call tua tua tua. but this year im going to be 22............................................tua!

my sisters, they are going to be 28, 27 and 25. and Toriq just turned 19 yesterday. Ayah will be 54 and Mak 55. lets have some reality slap to your face Iman.

sooooooooooo! lets start the not-so-basi-cus-it's-still-freaking-fresh-in-my-mind story! 3rd, 4th and 5th of December are days that i will not forget for the rest of muh life. the guy i've been stalking, looking, watching, reading etc was there. finally. there, as for there is in front of me. hahahahaha. to tell the truth, im so not into celebrity kinda thingy. ya know, going to concert, send letters,gifts to them and all that stuffs.

but this guy is exceptional!

banyak kisah2 tak enak pasal fan meet ni. and its all bout the organizer part. sigh. thanks for damaging the image of Malaysia i guess. malas nak cite kat sini. hahahaha. so basically there are 6 packages. 3 vip packages and 3 normal packages. price from RM600 to RM160. i went for RM260! hahahaha. gila kan. yurpppp i know. but it worth every penny of it. seriously.

so si Jay ni dia fly dari Bangkok sebab dia baru buat fan meet kat sana. and the craziest thing i've done so far was that, we (Lia, Eyka and me) went to KLIA to welcome him and the rest of the crew. MUAHAHAHA. ok sumpah gila. sebelum ni duk tengok kat utube orang2 gi tengok Jay kat airport i was like, gosh rajin nye waaaa sanggup!

and all. but now, look at me. HAHAHAHA.

RELA klia dgn bodyguards bersiap sedia sebelum fan girls menjadi gila. kekeke

the second we saw the presence of this little guy, the screams went insane! hahahaha. i screamed my lungs out. and others too. there were like 20-30 of us. gila betul. got a lil goosebumps over the scream. dang! :P

Eyka went to half paparazi and half fangirl at that time. Lia too! they did a great job on taking photos and all. me? i was stunt. i dont know what to do. i didnt chase him, didnt try to get closer or anything. just stand in front of the van his on. i was not being normal! hahahaha. im supposed to get freaking near him! HAHAHA.

but this was my view the whole 10 minutes. so kinda worth it :D

the next day, the vips gonna have Hi-5 session with Jay at the Fahrenheit. kami sebagai ticket holders yang tak vip datang nak nyebok. bangun awal2 terus gi Jalan Bukit Bintang. tak sangka pagi2 dekat situ agak tenang. parked at Low Yat at felt frustrated to know Fahrenheit is like 3 blocks away from Low Yat! double frustration when we cant figure out how to get to the venue of the hi-5 which the entrance is actually from the outside of the building. FML! after the event we zoomed off to KLIA. yaaaaaaaaaa. kami buat kerja gila lagi. HAHAHA.

sumpah dah macam Jaystalkers kami ini. zoomed off pretty fast. takut terlepas flight dia. tapi kami sampai 30 minit awal rupanya. took pictures with Andrew and Daniel. saya yakin, im taller than them! HAHAHAHA. ok sorry :P

okayyy. lets start with most basi story that i need to write it here. sometimes, it clicked to my mind, why the hell i bother to write post bout this and that.

ah~ now i remember, cus i want to re-read all the posts as i grow older. it must fun ya know to read old stuffs like after 10 years from now or what not. too bad i dont have blog when i was in primary school because that period is the best i ever had :)

and now im in the 2nd period of the best-i-will-have-period; university life! hahahaha cecece bermukadimah sikit.

i was in a mooting competition before. to tell the truth, i hate mooting. from A to Z of mooting is painful, burdensome, leceh and many more. ironically, mooting is what im going to do in my everyday life after i get out of university and start life as a lawyer. man, mooting made me think hard whether i really want to be a lawyer. high blood pressure pada umur yg sangat awal! hahaha.

so the result was out, congrats to the finalist! Teha and Pravin supposedly will go against Shaira team (she is the current president of Law Society) tapi dia tarik diri sebab masalah kesihatan. aww too bad cus im waiting for this battle cus i know its going to be a very heat one!

me and yusri is on the list! wuhueeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! we are at no 6! Alhamdulilah~~ :D

we managed to get what we aimed for. hahahahaha. i dont aspect to get on the top 10 though we aimed to get on the top 10. cus, if look on the effort we put in, the energy and stuffs i dont think we can get to the top 10. ok annoying dengan diri sendiri plak tulis camni. sama macam orang cantik kata dia hodoh. hahah ok wtfish iman statement itu sangat annoying. but what i want to say is........ i dont know. hahahahahahaha. ok double annoying now! ok lets forget bout it. bout what? well bout what it what. triple annoying :)

and also congratulations to my group-mates! they are my buddies for assignment since our 1st year. cool aite, all of us in the list :)

Joanne with her co-counsel is at 4th place for English and Azmiza and Steven also 4th place but for Bahasa Malaysia. sumpah awesome lah group-mates gua ni :)

and of course congratulations to all my classmates, cus believe it or not, the most pain in the ass competition is finally OVER! Bus PakCik Hashim

there was this period. when i was 10 to 16. its between 1999 to 2005. went to school by bus, bus Pakcik Hashim to be specific. at that time, my house area is the farthest from my school. its a new house area recently opened at that time. still remember some school-kids are laughing at the name of my house are; Taman Seri Embun. maybe the Embun part is funny though i dont find its funny at all. since my house is the farthest, Pakcik Hashim will pick up us first. the us here is me and Kakno. and probably Toriq too. cant remember. sorry Toriq :P oh! and Salma too. had to wake up and take freaking cold shower as early as 5.30 AM. cus Pakcik Hashim will pick us at 6 AM. time balik pulak, we will be the last to be sent home. as said, cus our house is the farthest.

at that time we just moved to Bangi. cus we stuck in the bus like 2 hours 5 days a week, we mastered the roads in Bangi early than our parents did. kekeke. and for that 2 hours, certain songs kinda have been very nostalgic to us. here some of the songs. credit to Toriq for searching for these :P

Im done with mooting! MUAHAHAHAHAHA. It feels like done with mooting equal to done with final exams! Yeah. Can you imagine the level of the stressfulness that we have been through? Years being a university student, there are only 3 things which im (and most of students) stressful the most; midterms, assignments and final exams. And the last one is the most migraine my brain’s cells draining till it last bits.

So can you imagine how freaking happy i am!!!

Mooting took us the gamma year, in a state of stress in the past 2 months. The moment i read the full mooting question, im in a state of denial ever since. Hehehehe. Glad that the process of reading, searching, lexisnexis-ing, clj-ing, brainstorming, discussing, opposing, arguing, pissing, cursing, and all that comes to an end. Gahhhhhhhhhh leganya ya Allah. Dude, i even fought with Yusri cus of this mooting thing. We were cursing at each other and screamed my lungs out to him. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sumpah kelakar. That was our first ever and many more in the future :P

Eka and Lia did great with their mooting. They won the case! Azmiza and Steven also. Steven also won as best oralist. Hahahah wanna say sorry to you Steven cus i kept make fun of your bahasa. But your bahasa during the competition and during the normal conversation is hella different, well thats what you said. Hahaha so yeah :P Eka and Lia moot comp is on the first day and Azmiza with Steven on the second day. And Yusri and me is on the last day! It was so stressful for me to watch the happy faces of those who have gained their freedom! Hahahaha.

I got to say, though our bundle of authorities (the thick bundle where we put all cases to support our arguements) done not in a last minute. But we finished our oral submission 12 hours before the competition. Which is 2 days behind then what me and Yusri have plan out :P it was so last minute. Tapi ada je orang lain siap oral submission 1 hour before the comp and even won the case. Kekeke.

Maka hari yang ditunggu pun tiba. Nervous nak mati! This is the most nervous my body and mind ever felt throughout her 21 years of life. Hahahaha. Of course 2^nd most nervous ialah masa nak tunggu match basketball bermula. Dayum. So we registered at 1 PM patu masuk bilik tuto yang dah di ubah jadi court room. And i looked at the judge desk, on the paper, written “MR TAY”. OMGGGGGGGGGGG Mr. Tay jadi judge. Tidakkk tidakkkkk tidakkkkk. Mr Tay is my Company Law 1 and Land Law 2’s lecturer. He is a very nice man. Very very nice and always make jokes :D But i’ve heard from others bila dia jadi judge mooting dia tanya banyak soalan. Guess what, yes he did.

Bila tanya mereka2 yang dah settle mooting, most of them were asked maximum like 3 questions from the judge. And some of them tak kena tanya langsung dengan judge. And the worst i’ve heard pun team Teha dgn Pravin. They were asked on every single things. I was like ohhh my kesian nya mesti terseksa. Jap gi, gua pun kene gitu! Hahahahaha. Awal-awal submission dah kene bomb macam2. Every mooters have 20 minutes to present and mine after plus minus the time Mr Tay took to ask his questions; about 30 minutes agak nya. So the whole competition dragged for so long till we’re the last court to dismiss. Pukul 4.45 baru habis. Start kul 2 camtu. Hadoiiiii. So the result; appeal dismissed with cost. In other words we lost the case. Hahaha kinda frustrating jugak BUT! The judge said in his judgement Yusri won on his submission but i lost on mine. Same as the respondent. Dorang menang satu kalah satu kitorang juge menang satu and kalah satu. So its like win-win situation la kan? Or it is not? Hahaha dah kalah tak nak mengaku :P and Alhamdulillah, the judge chose me as the best oralist :D but its a disadvantage to the respondent team they are not as fluent as me and Yusri in bahasa since bahasa is not their mother language. So it was a close fight between me and my junior counsel! Hahahaha. Glad that both of us won something! Alhamdulillah :D

So thats how it goes. This competition made me think, is this how am i going to face my life as lawyer? Simple case macam ni pun buat hidup gua stress tahap dewa selama dua bulan apatah lagi kalau kene settle dozen of cases in a week ke nanti. Goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh botak muda2 la gua macam ni.

p/s: the only time i felt stress during school years is SPM. Man, i just don’t care bout midterms, homeworks, doing excercise books. No wonder i have variety of grades in my SPM certificate :P
